Lisa Prusinski Studio, CPSA
Fine Artist
Lisa Prusinski is a fine artist specializing in colored pencil paintings of automobiles and motorcycles. Lisa also paints landscapes, portraits and flowers in watercolor. She exhibits at car shows and fine art fairs during the summer months, and her work can be found in local galleries year round.
A lifelong resident of Grand Rapids Michigan, she graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Illustration. Lisa is a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), and member of the American Watercolor Society (AWS) and the National Watercolor Society (NWS).
Lisa has been called the 'Queen of Colored Pencil' and once you have seen her work, there can be no doubt she deserves it. Lisa's rich application of Prisma media lends the look of oil painting with the detail of pencil work. Her vision and passion are evident as she explores the complex relationships of shape and color in her subjects. Lisa has a command of chrome, form and reflection that is indescribable.
Lisa is the recipient of the 2003 Cranbrook Concours d'Elegance 'Award for Overall Artistic Excellence', Eyes on Design 'Eye of the Artist' for 2000 and 2001 and an Honorable Mention in the CPSA's Midwest Exhibition 2000.
